I’ve been a Willie apologist up until the Florida debacle. It is evidently clear that he must no longer be the DC for Georgia. When you score 42 points, you have no business losing a game. This is not a blip in the radar with Mr. Martinez, it is now becoming a trend. See WVU 2005, Auburn 2005, Tennessee 2006&2007, Alabama 2008, and Florida 2008. For the good of the program Willie, please do what Sly Croom did and submit your resignation tomorrow.

I was listening to Chris Lowe being interviewed on ESPNNEWS. The subject of Monte Kiffin joining son Lane at UT and if so would former Ole Miss coach Ed Oregereon(I don’t know if that is spelled right) would still join the UT staff as DC/assistant head coach.Lowe said “Probably not.” Considering just to get Coach O to Knoxville, you would have to give him atleast a coordinator position and probably the rank of assistant head coach. Long story short- if Monte Kiffin is the Vols new DC there is no room for Coach O.

Now, What do you think about Coach O as Georgia’s defensive coordinator?

Monte is a done deal per ESPN. I’m hearing Kiffin may bring Roth and Watson from SC with him, if he brings Watson, I’m assuming Watson becomes D Line coach, and Kiffin the D Coordinator – which doesn’t leave any room for O.

BBQ, Ball and Bets

There's nothing like a sunny fall afternoon, pork BBQ (with mustard sauce, of course!), a pregame tailgate, and...betting online. You heard me right. With a laptop and an internet connection you can check the odds of any game from the 50 yard line. Now that's convenience and will make your tailgate all the more interesting when some dude mentions just how much of a good bet a certain game is.
