Knowshon Moreno, all American

Knowshon was named to the American Football Coaches Association All-American team yesterday.  His 1338 yards rushing led the SEC.  He also tallied 27 catches for 329 yards and 17 total TDs.

If he decides to stay, he will be a Brian Westbrook type threat with his emergence as a receiver.  It is interesting to me that Herschel Walker was known for his running, but the thing that made him stand out was his receiving.  Either way, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the tailback be a more active part of the passing game in Bobo’s offenses next year, even if Knowshon leaves Athens, as he may well do.

Mr. Moreno, contratulations.  You are a Damn Good Dawg.

BBQ, Ball and Bets

There's nothing like a sunny fall afternoon, pork BBQ (with mustard sauce, of course!), a pregame tailgate, and...betting online. You heard me right. With a laptop and an internet connection you can check the odds of any game from the 50 yard line. Now that's convenience and will make your tailgate all the more interesting when some dude mentions just how much of a good bet a certain game is.
