Dawgs named AP All-SEC

Three Georgia players were named Associated Press first team SEC today.  Knowshon was an unanimous pick as the conference’s rushing leader with 1338 yards.  AJ Green and Clint Boling were also first team picks for the Dawgs. Knowshon was one of five unanimous first team players, joining Florida’s QB, Mississippi O lineman Micheal Oher, Alabama O lineman Andre Smith, and Alabama S Rashad Johnson.

Matthew Stafford,Mohamed Massaquoi,Rennie Curran, Reshad Jones and Brian Mimbs were second-team selections.

In a very confusing Freshman of the year ballot, Alabama’s Julio Jones got six votes to AJ Green’s five to win Freshman of the Year.  Jones was selected as a second team receiver.

Congrats to some DGDs.

A Georgia Dawg in the Mid-West alone with his thoughts.

BBQ, Ball and Bets

There's nothing like a sunny fall afternoon, pork BBQ (with mustard sauce, of course!), a pregame tailgate, and...betting online. You heard me right. With a laptop and an internet connection you can check the odds of any game from the 50 yard line. Now that's convenience and will make your tailgate all the more interesting when some dude mentions just how much of a good bet a certain game is.
