Asher Allen to enter the draft

Another Dawg leaving.  Reshard Jones will stick around.

Asher is projecting as high as early second round on some draft boards, so this isn’t the biggest surprise in the world.  He played the last several games with a broken thumb, but came up with nine solo tackles in the Capital One Bowl.  It’ll be intersting to see how the defensive backfeild will be staffed with Asher and Ramarcus Brown (who is a senior) leaving.  I does leave an interesting spot for the coaches to recruit Greg Reid from Lowdnes County for, nearly assuring him of immediate playing time, should he decide to attend Georgia.

Good luck Asher.

Go Dawgs!

A Georgia Dawg in the Mid-West alone with his thoughts.

BBQ, Ball and Bets

There's nothing like a sunny fall afternoon, pork BBQ (with mustard sauce, of course!), a pregame tailgate, and...betting online. You heard me right. With a laptop and an internet connection you can check the odds of any game from the 50 yard line. Now that's convenience and will make your tailgate all the more interesting when some dude mentions just how much of a good bet a certain game is.
