G. Anderson to play for the braves. Really. Terry Moore had nothing to do with this story.

I like this pick up.  I would have preferred Nady because of his long term upside, but this is a nice move.  Anderson has some pop left and he certainly has a winners mentality.  In the 15 years Anderson has been an Angel, California/Anaheim/Los Angeles of Anaheim/Los Angeles has been to the playoffs five times and won a world series. He was made expendable by the signing of Bobby Abreu and Gary Mathews, Jr. into an outfield that featured Vlad Gurerro, Torri Hunter along with Anderson last season.

Hopefully, he can start 125 or so games and teach a couple of the young outfielders a thing or two about solid team play.

BBQ, Ball and Bets

There's nothing like a sunny fall afternoon, pork BBQ (with mustard sauce, of course!), a pregame tailgate, and...betting online. You heard me right. With a laptop and an internet connection you can check the odds of any game from the 50 yard line. Now that's convenience and will make your tailgate all the more interesting when some dude mentions just how much of a good bet a certain game is.
