Dawgs win again! Dawgs win again!

The Dawgs defeat Vandy 61-57 in Athens.   The amazing part is that it looked like it would all fall apart (again) around the 4 minute mark when the Dawgs lost the lead.  After yielding the lead on a 26-10 Vandy run over 10 minutes, Rickey McPhee said no mas, jacking a momentum changing 3-pointer.

The Dawgs pwnd the ‘Dores the rest of the way (well, held them without a field goal) and took the win.

Georgia travels to Fayettville this weekend (Sunday at 4pm on Raycom) to secure the 11th spot in the conference, facing an Arkansas team that will be playing for pride and a shot at not being the last place team in the conference.

The Dawgs still have a shot at the fifth seed out of the east going into the conference tourney, but need to win out.  With a road game against Kentucky and a home game against newly minted SEC East leader South Carolina left after Arkansas, that seems like a tall order right now.

Go Dawgs!

A Georgia Dawg in the Mid-West alone with his thoughts.

BBQ, Ball and Bets

There's nothing like a sunny fall afternoon, pork BBQ (with mustard sauce, of course!), a pregame tailgate, and...betting online. You heard me right. With a laptop and an internet connection you can check the odds of any game from the 50 yard line. Now that's convenience and will make your tailgate all the more interesting when some dude mentions just how much of a good bet a certain game is.
