Georgia, playing the roll of spoiler

Ok, so this won’t necessarily mean anything to anyone not wearing Blue, but Georgia beats Kentucky 90-85 on the road.  The Dawgs bust out their highest scoring output against a team without State or A&T in their name.

UK probably has to win the SEC tourney at this point to save Joe Billy Gillespie’s job get into the NCAA tournament and ensure their 17 year streak stays in tact. On the Georgia side of the ledger, with this win and Arkansas’ loss at home tonight against Ole Miss, the Dawgs have a shot at staying out of the SEC cellar.

I’m guessing Tubby Smith thinks this is pretty rich, too.

A Georgia Dawg in the Mid-West alone with his thoughts.

BBQ, Ball and Bets

There's nothing like a sunny fall afternoon, pork BBQ (with mustard sauce, of course!), a pregame tailgate, and...betting online. You heard me right. With a laptop and an internet connection you can check the odds of any game from the 50 yard line. Now that's convenience and will make your tailgate all the more interesting when some dude mentions just how much of a good bet a certain game is.
