Since we are on baseball…

  • Paul Westerdawg discusses the weekend sweep of Kentucker and the upcoming game with Tech and series with Arkansas.
  • Kyle does so too, but with much more commentary.
  • Bernie uses humor, quite effectively, to jointly make fun of (if you are a Dawg fan)/point out good things about (if you are a Jacket fan) the Yellow Jackets (warning, not safe for anyone with an aversion to 80’s movies).
  • Dave O’Brien has a cool write up on Braves rookie Jordan Schafer living the dream, just ten months removed from a half season suspension for ‘roids.
  • There is a show about what might have happened to John Rocker after baseball.  It is called Eastbound and Down and the video is definitely not safe for work, mommas, the preacher or that nice lady next door that wonders why you don’t close your drapes to the living room on the nights your kids are at their grandparents you sick bastard.
  • New park, same results for the Mets.

My question is how does Chipper Jones incorporate “Citi Field” into a child’s name once he takes his rightful ownership of this new facility in northern Queens?

BBQ, Ball and Bets

There's nothing like a sunny fall afternoon, pork BBQ (with mustard sauce, of course!), a pregame tailgate, and...betting online. You heard me right. With a laptop and an internet connection you can check the odds of any game from the 50 yard line. Now that's convenience and will make your tailgate all the more interesting when some dude mentions just how much of a good bet a certain game is.
