The SEC NCAA women’s gymnastics championship in Lincoln has the ‘Super 6’ set:

UGA-Going after their fifth straight championship and 10th overall.

Alabama – Coach Sarah Patterson is looking to bring the Tide their fifth title.

LSU – DD Breaux’s squad is looking to finally get the Tigers their first national title in the 30 years of their program.

Florida – Coach Rhonda Faehn is at home in the Devaney center, where she coached the Gym Huskers(?) for three years before going to Gainesvegas in 2002.

Arkansas – Husband and Wife Coaches Cook and Cook have the Gym’Backs in their first Super Six.  Yes, the Gym’Backs.

Utah – They’ve already won the meet, apparently.

The Utes are used to beating SEC competition this year.

Also, congrats to Courtney Kupets and Tiffany Tolnay, both named first team all around All Americans.  In total, five Gym Dawgs garnered event or all around first team All American status.

The Super Six session will begin at 6pm Central in Lincoln.  You can follow along at ncaa.com.

A Georgia Dawg in the Mid-West alone with his thoughts.

BBQ, Ball and Bets

There's nothing like a sunny fall afternoon, pork BBQ (with mustard sauce, of course!), a pregame tailgate, and...betting online. You heard me right. With a laptop and an internet connection you can check the odds of any game from the 50 yard line. Now that's convenience and will make your tailgate all the more interesting when some dude mentions just how much of a good bet a certain game is.
