Gym Dawg Domination

Congrats to Coach Yoculan’s Gym Dawgs for winning their fifth national championship in a row.

Coach Yoculan now stands with John Wooden and Dan Gable (Iowa’s wrestling coach) for consecutive team championships in D-1 athletics.  The Gym Dawgs brought their usual A game, with Courtney Kupets scoring tens on the vault and the uneven bars.  Those were the only perfect scores put up in the championship session.

The Gym Dawgs got into trouble early on the beam, but rallied back with strong performances on the other events. They had the highest team scores on all three other events.

As Coach Yoculan put it :

Just like all GymDog teams, they never quit.

Final Results (courtesy of the University of Nebraska):

2 Alabama 197.575

BBQ, Ball and Bets

There's nothing like a sunny fall afternoon, pork BBQ (with mustard sauce, of course!), a pregame tailgate, and...betting online. You heard me right. With a laptop and an internet connection you can check the odds of any game from the 50 yard line. Now that's convenience and will make your tailgate all the more interesting when some dude mentions just how much of a good bet a certain game is.
