Dawgs win

Perno’s Dawgs add a late field goal to beat Ohio State (that sounds familiar) 24-8 in Tallahassee in regional baseball play.  They exploded for 14 after the four week rain delay in the fifth.  As Paul Westerdawgs noted, Georgia’s bat speed was too much for the Buckeyes.

The Dawgs will face Florida State next.

The sofball team will take on Missouri in an elimination game in the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City.  First pitch is noon eastern and will be on ESPN2.

Go Dawgs!

A Georgia Dawg in the Mid-West alone with his thoughts.

BBQ, Ball and Bets

There's nothing like a sunny fall afternoon, pork BBQ (with mustard sauce, of course!), a pregame tailgate, and...betting online. You heard me right. With a laptop and an internet connection you can check the odds of any game from the 50 yard line. Now that's convenience and will make your tailgate all the more interesting when some dude mentions just how much of a good bet a certain game is.
