Still trying to figure out how I ended up where I ended up.  Well, not really, but it still feels that way some days.  I have the coolest wife in the world, she insists that we get Game Plan.  She earned her wife stripes at the 2004 Georgia Tech game, where she sat in the cold rain during Tech’s comeback attempt while six months pregnant.  Each of our children have sang “Glory, Glory” before they could sing anything else.

Living in the Mid-West, spreading love for good college football and bourbon and convincing people here that they go hand in hand.  Helping teach yankees that BBQ is pork and not an event.  Serving my second tour as an ambassador of all things Dawg.

Some days I listen to the voices in my head, some days I ignore them, some days they leave me alone.

Lewis Grizzard warned me there would be times like this.

I like your site…wish I’d had this from 1999-2002…I’m a UGA ’92 grad who spent three years in south eastern South Dakota – so I’ve been the bulldawgs in the mid-west and feel your pain. We were in Cornhusker country and they even piped the Nebraska games into the grocery stores on least it was red and not the dreaded orange! My worst day was when the local tv station pre-empted GA/FLA (mid-way throught he second quarter) with the state girls volleyball championships – OMG!! That is such a sin! I had my wife in Savannah for four years and now we are in Jackson, MS — atleast its SEC country!! Good luck to you in the land of corn and keep up the site! Go Dawgs!!

Hey would you mind letting me know which hosting company you’re
using? I’ve loaded your blog in 3 different browsers and I
must say this blog loads a lot faster then most. Can you recommend a good web hosting
provider at a reasonable price? Thank you, I appreciate it!

A Georgia Dawg in the Mid-West alone with his thoughts.

BBQ, Ball and Bets

There's nothing like a sunny fall afternoon, pork BBQ (with mustard sauce, of course!), a pregame tailgate, and...betting online. You heard me right. With a laptop and an internet connection you can check the odds of any game from the 50 yard line. Now that's convenience and will make your tailgate all the more interesting when some dude mentions just how much of a good bet a certain game is.
