In Connecticut….I feel your pain…I bleed red and black and both my kids(3 and 1) can say “GOOOOO dawgs sic em, and bark” with the passion that brings brings a tear to my eye…I’ve been invited to many “BBQ’s” and yet to have anything that resembles pull pork, ribs, beans,or stew. My favorite question is “where did you get that red and black Greenbay hat”? Followed by “what do you think about Brett Farvre?” Nice to see there are others….Shane

    Shane,
Thanks. I tell you what, I didn’t get the Green Bay thing for a while, although I did get plenty of dirty looks from people when I put my “G” flag up. Big Chicago Bear territory here.

    Thanks for reading.

I lived in Naperville for 9 years and never missed it until I moved back south. How did I do it? I like your style.

A Georgia Dawg in the Mid-West alone with his thoughts.

BBQ, Ball and Bets

There's nothing like a sunny fall afternoon, pork BBQ (with mustard sauce, of course!), a pregame tailgate, and...betting online. You heard me right. With a laptop and an internet connection you can check the odds of any game from the 50 yard line. Now that's convenience and will make your tailgate all the more interesting when some dude mentions just how much of a good bet a certain game is.
